The company was first known as Blue Ribbon Sports, but the name was changed to Nike Inc. in 1971.In Mythology, Nike is the name of the Greek Goddess Of Victory. The Nike Air Foamposite History

The Nike Air Foamposite was originally released back in 1997, created by Nike designer Eric Avar. The Foamposite technology was created to act as a “liquid foam”, that wrapped the foot in order to provide a dynamic fit and support. It also added durability in comparison to traditional basketball sneaker constructions. The Nike Foamposite came in two version: Foamposite One and Foamposite Pro. The One featured Penny Hardaway’s 1cent logo on the heel of the shoe. He also debuted the sneaker. The Pro featured jeweled Nike Swooshes on each side of the shoes, but didn’t featured the 1cent logo. The sneaker was originally retailed for $180.00.

Features Of The Shoe

This shoe features a rose pink upper all over the foam shell, along with touches of rose pink on the 1cent logos, Nike swooshes, pull tabs, and the stripes located on the tongue. It also features black located on the collar, lining, eyestay, tongue, and pull tabs. Finally, the shoe features the traditionally icy translucent outsole.

Release Date

These Foamposites will be available on April 20th, for a retail price of $230.00. Mark your calendars, and have your cash ready, these should sell out pretty fast. Who’s Copping???

  1. It a rose color!! It an amazing color from nike. You have an awesome update for all the sneakers which most sneaker heads love. Keep it up and I will share your post. Cheers!

    • Hello once again Jaden, thanks for another comment. Everyone will love to have a pair of these. Can’t wait to hear from you again!!!

  2. Hey, Ahmad.
I’m glad I came across your article today.
My son is fanatic about these releases. He’s always talking about how cool these sneakers are. And to tell you the truth, I was amazed by the fact that their prices go up so high once they sell out! So it’s also an investment.
I’m going to share this post with my son, in case he’s still not aware of the upcoming release.

    • Hello Eliane, thanks for the comment. A lot of sneaker heads purchase highly anticipated sneakers, and resell them at a higher price. Also, most of them purchase a pair, and never wear them at all (keep them deadstock). Thanks again, and feel free to always check back with my site for more updates!!!

  3. Wow. These look cool. Although, I’m not quite so flamboyant with my sneaker choices. I like mine to be plain white with a small logo or something.

  4. I like your shoes, very high quality looking. Looks a little pricy, but like you say, you get what you pay for. Great Website, great pics. I’ll be sure to direct others to your great website.
