We have some exciting news for the young sneaker addicts!! Nike is dropping yet another new colorway for the Nike Little Posite this upcoming weekend. You kids are going to love this release (sorry sneaker heads with the big feet).
What Is Nike???
Nike is a multinational corporation that is the world largest supplier of athlete shoes and major manufacturer of sports equipment. It was founded in 1964, by Bill Bowerman and Phil Knight. The company was first known as Blue Ribbon Sports, but the name was changed to Nike Inc. in 1971.In Mythology, Nike is the name of the Greek Goddess Of Victory. Nike markets many products such as Nike Golf, Nike Pro, Nike+, Air Jordan, Nike Blazers, Air Force 1, Nike Dunk, Air Max, Foamposite, Nike SB, and many more. Nike also operates many retail stores worldwide. Additionally, the company sponsors many high profile athletes and sport teams all around the world. You may also be familiar with the infamous Nike trademarks: “Just Do It” and the swoosh logo.
The Nike Air Foamposite History
The Nike Air Foamposite was originally released back in 1997, created by Nike designer Eric Avar. The Foamposite technology was created to act as a “liquid foam”, that wrapped the foot in order to provide a dynamic fit and support. It also added durability in comparison to traditional basketball sneaker constructions. The Nike Foamposite came in two version: Foamposite One and Foamposite Pro. The One featured Penny Hardaway’s 1cent logo on the heel of the shoe. He also debuted the sneaker. The Pro featured jeweled Nike Swooshes on each side of the shoes, but didn’t featured the 1cent logo. The sneaker was originally retailed for $180.00.
Features Of The Shoe
The Foamposite Upper consists of all black. Blue Patent leather is located throughout the heel tab, collar, and eyelet areas. Additionally, touches of orange are located on the Nike Swooshes, 1cent logos, pull tabs, and the midsole areas. Finally, the sneaker features the traditional icy translucent outsoles.
Hey kids, are you ready to cop these hot sneakers??? If so, these will be available September 1st. The retail price will be $180.00.
