We have yet another Air Jordan 5 that is apart of the Air Jordan 5 Flight Series that is set to drop very soon. The Air Jordan 5 Premium Bordeaux is something you sneaker heads may want to consider adding to your closet. With it’s attention-grabbing features and fashion looks, you may not want to turn them down.
The Air Jordan 5 History
The Air Jordan 5 was originally released back in February 1990, created by yours truly, Tinker Hatfield. It was the first Jordan to ever have clear rubber soles. On the midsole near the icy soles, you will also notice the flames on each side of the shoes. In Tinker’s eyes, Michael Jordan’s performance was like a “Fighter Plane”, so the sneaker was designed to look like a Fighter Plane. The Jordan 5 is an inspiration of the “grey nurse shark” or the World War 2 British Fighter Plane; the Spitfire MkV3. 3m reflection was also added on the shoe tongues. The sneakers were originally retailed for $125.00.
Features Of The Shoe
This shoe comes in a fashion-like red wine color scheme that consist of premium leather material. It also features Flight lack locks, along with tan quilted inner liners and insoles. You can also notice the rope waxed shoe laces and jump man logos that are embossed on the tongues and heels. Finally, we can’t forget the icy translucent outsoles.
On December 14th, these will be available for purchase. The retail price is very steep, it will cost you $400.00. If you are a fashion type of person, I don’t see why these wouldn’t be on your “next to cop” list.
