Patients at the OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital gets a chance every year to design special editions of Nike and Jordan sneakers, this is known as the Nike and OHSU Freestyle Program. The Air Jordan 12 History
Originally released back in 1996-1997, this sneaker was inspired by the Japanese Rising Sun, featuring flowing lines reminiscent of the sending out its morning rays. Michael Jordan, despite suffering from the flu, has worn these in a game against the Utah Jazz, scoring 38 points. This was also the first Jordan to utilize Zoom Air Technology for lightweight cushioning and lightning quick responsiveness.
Features Of The Shoe
This shoe was designed by Carissa Navarro, it consist of a black and pink overall. It features her stuffed dog named Max located on the pink camouflaged outsole, a slice of pizza on the laces, the word family on the midsole, her twin sister’s name Savannah located on the left heel tab and Carissa on the right. You will also notice the word “HOPE” on each tongue of the shoes.
