It was the first basketball shoe wore in the NBA that featured multiple colors. MJ first disliked the sneaker, but started to grew on him overtime. During that time, the famous sneaker was banned by Commissioner of the NBA, David Stern. MJ wasn’t allowed to wear the shoes on the court, but MJ refused to play without them anyways. The shoe was originally retailed at $65.00.

It also features touches of gold located on the swooshes, Nike Air logos, and the wing logos. 1. Wow these Jordans are gorgeous! Your site might become a dangerous place for my wallet.

Also I didn’t know about MJ and his sneaker fines, so thanks for teaching me something new today! Can’t say I blame him, I wouldn’t let anyone tell me I couldn’t wear my shoes either.

    • Hello Brittaney, thanks for the comment. Jordans are very expensive nowadays, and can put a hole in your pockets lls. Nobody couldn’t tell MJ nothing on that court back in the day. Feel free to always check back with the latest sneakers for more updates!!!

    • Hello Shalisha, thanks for the comment. If you are looking for something cheaper, I would say cop some Vans. They are about $50.00-$65.00. Feel free to always check back with the latest sneakers for future updates on upcoming sneakers!!!

  2. A lot of history from some great sneakers! I really enjoyed reading your article! Can’t believe they kept fining MJ $2000, that would’ve been a couple dollars for him!

I can see why it would grow on someone though, the design and is very sleek and would go well with a variety of styles.

    Thanks Ahmed:)

    • Hello Jeremy, thanks again for another comment. Honestly speaking, I didn’t like the Air Jordan 1s at first. Overtime, I started to fall in love with them, and I own three pair of 1s (Bred, Black Toe, and Chicago colorways). It was crazy how they kept fining MJ that much money almost every game, but you couldn’t tell him nothing on the court. Thank again friend, and continue to come back for more sneaker updates!!!
