What Is Nike???
Nike is a multinational corporation that is the world largest supplier of athlete shoes and major manufacturer of sports equipment. It was founded in 1964, by Bill Bowerman and Phil Knight. The company was first known as Blue Ribbon Sports, but the name was changed to Nike Inc. in 1971. In Mythology, Nike is the name of the Greek Goddess Of Victory.
Nike markets many products such as Nike Golf, Nike Pro, Nike+, Air Jordan, Nike Blazers, Air Force 1, Nike Dunk, Air Max, Foamposite, Nike SB, and many more. Nike also operates many retail stores worldwide. Additionally, the company sponsors many high profile athletes and sport teams all around the world.
You may also be familiar with the infamous Nike trademarks: “Just Do It” and the swoosh logo.
The Nike Air Foamposite History
The Nike Air Foamposite was originally released back in 1997, created by Nike designer Eric Avar. The Foamposite technology was created to act as a “liquid foam”, that wrapped the foot in order to provide a dynamic fit and support. It also added durability in comparison to traditional basketball sneaker constructions.
The Nike Foamposite came in two version: Foamposite One and Foamposite Pro. The One featured Penny Hardaway’s 1cent logo on the heel of the shoe. He also debuted the sneaker. The Pro featured jeweled Nike Swooshes on each side of the shoes, but didn’t featured the 1cent logo.
The sneaker was originally retailed for $180.00.
Features Of The Shoe
The foam shell upper consist of a dark bronze hue that can color-shift while being under light. Additionally, touches of orange can be found on the Nike logos throughout the shoe, pull tabs, and outsole. Finally, black is applied to the swooshes, rubber soles, pull tabs, lining, eye stay, and shoe laces as well.
These slick kicks have released today. These would be great to add to your foamposite collection. GO AND COP A PAIR NOW!!!
